Hi, it’s Tony. I’d like to talk to you for just a moment about retention. Not your retention rate in your agency, but the retention you have in your book of business with our strategic partner carriers.

Retaining your Carriers

As important to your financial success as retention of your business is, so it is with them.

And they’re increasingly focused on retention. In fact, they grade you very much on that. Agencies with 80-plus percent retention are reviewed favorably, and those with under 80 are not. In fact, a number of our carriers are now paying us additional bonus income in part based on retention.

So I want to encourage you, if you can keep the business where it is, it will benefit you and your bottom line.

Something to think about. Thanks.
